Firstly I must say a huge thank you to Sam for nominating me for another blog award!![]()
If you are tagged, you should pass this award on to other bloggers you feel make you think, and link to the original post HERE.
Here goes;
I would like to nominate the following bloggers who I find inspirational;
Gillian - I think Gillian's work speaks for itself really _ it is all totally fabulous, but more than that Gillian is such a generous person, always making time to leave comments on peoples work.
Jo - Jo brings so much to the cardmaking world her cards are so inspiring and totally original. If ever I am stuck for an idea I just have to look at Jo's work and pretty soon I feel inspired!!
Lynne - I just love this lady's work!! What a fab addition she has been to the Daring cardmakers blog!! Love her use of papers - Oh and she just happens to be a fabaroonie scrapbooker too!!!
There are so many more people I would like to nominate but I would be here all day!!
Ok back to the dare for today.
I know you've all got buttons stashed away somewhere, whether they've been purchased at a cardmaking store or you thriftily snipped them off DH's old shirt. I'd like you to find those buttons and use them somewhere on a card. They can be real buttons, craft shop buttons, die cut buttons, faux buttons or another type of button, surprise us all.
I am trying to think about my Christmas card designs this year so I am trialing a few different cards.

pp BG fruitcake, mm metal sentiment, and buttons from stash.
Thanks for looking

Tou must make a card with a frill - it could be some lace, frilly ribbon, a hand cut or decorative scissor edge or a folded paper frill - or what ever you choose to make.... you decide!
Fabaroonie dare set by Jo this week!! I had a picture of a card in my head that I wanted to make that was romantic and pretty, it didn't quite come out as planned!!!!!! Half way through making it I almost gave up but I was determined to salvage something from the mess I had made!!!! So here it is - a card probably only suitable to send to a Gothic couple on their wedding day or anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!
Unfortunately for me I don't really know any Goths, so I guess this will sit in the card box forever, or until I decide to pull it apart and re use what I can!

Gothy bits used - pp crate avenue and scraps, Heidi Swapp chipboard, bloom and primas, brad from stash. I made the frilly bit with a length of organza ribbon which I gathered up and stitched.
I may have another go at this dare over the weekend and see if I can come up with something I actually like!!(3 weeks in the sun has obviously affected my cardmaking skills!)
Enjoy the weekend!
