Cuttlebug
Thank you to everone who kindly left a coment about my card, I didn't expect anyone to even see my first post!
The very talented Lynne asked about the cuttlebug embossing folder I used so here is a photo of mine. You can use them in the big shot as well as a cuttlebug, not sure about the sizzix machine as I dont have one (has anyone tried them in their sizzix??)
They are really easy yo use, just sandwich your card into the folder and feed through the big shot the same way as you would a sizzlit die. the embossing is really clear and there are lots of different designs. I also have loads of the cuttlebug dies which I really love , they can be used in the big shot in exactly the same way.
I have bought all of my cuttlebug dies and folders from the United States (ebay) even with shipping they are so much cheaper, and you can usually buy several together in one listing.
I think the embossing folders were about £3-4 each and the dies work out as cheaply as £4 for a set of 4. (sorry rambling on a bit now!!!!, could talk about my stash all day!!!!!!!!)

This last piccie is of a few cards i made at the weekend for some of my daughters friends, i seem to have to make at least two a week! Just simple cards with their names on made using Queen & co letters and flowers.
Think I am starting to get the hang of this blogging thing, only had to ask my daughter for help about 20 times for this post!! That's less than half the amount for the first post!!

Thanks for the details of the embossing foldeers Sarah. Get paid at the end of the week, so I'll be having a look on ebay US.
Love the new cards, very girlie.
Sarah these cards are soooo cute!
Well Done on your blog, it's looking great!..
I bought some cuttlebug folders on the weekend..(paid $20 australian for one!..grrrr!) I saw online that you can use it without a cuttlebug, all you do is spray your card with water, put it in the folder, and roll it with a rolling pin. and yes it works, altho it's not as even as using a machine.. one day I'll get one.. LOL!!!.. in the meantime.. I'll just use my muscles.. LOL!!!
Great tip gillian, thanks. I always have a look on us ebay I get loads of stash from there, also the lovely Heidi Swapp florals that i know you use are half the price that i would have to pay here!!!!
I think I'll be purchasing more now on ebay.. LOL!!!...
I was able to get my HS florals at cost through a friend..so bought up big when I got the chance ;o)..
