One word....

This week I dare you to use a Word as the main focal point to your card. It can be a name, a greeting or just a word that inspires you. You can use other text but only one word as a main embellishment. So dig out your dictionaries, die cutters, alphabet stamps, rubons or download a funky font and show us what you can do!

I started this card for the little extra this week but never got it finished , so I have finished it with this dare in mind. I have included a big and little flower(for the little extra) and the word Friend for the dare. This card also fits the gingham challenge on the JB forum.

pp - various scraps, chipboard flower SA kit, chipboard letters Heidi Swapp,mm clip and ribbon from stash.

I am on a mission to use up the ridiculous amount of scraps I have saved over the past couple of years, so the patchwork cards are great for doing this. And as this card is for a special friend of my daughter I used up a few more and made a tag to tie on the gift bag of her present. In fact I think I will try and make a tag with each card from now on to use up all those little bits and pieces I just can't seem to throw away!!

I don't seem to posting much at the moment, I have made lots of bits and pieces lately but I don't want to put them on here until I know that the people I made them for have received them!

Ok I really have to go tidy my craft room I cannot even find a space on the desk to work on!!

Those patchwork papers are lovely, I can understand why you don't want to through any small bits away.

This card has such a crisp professional finish to it. It reminds me of Strwberry Cupcake, do you remember her or am I too old!
