DCM - Shrink to fit..
Shrink to Fit
I used to be able to make cards with lots of "white space" around the designs, but lately when I've tried to do this my cards just look sooooo naked!
So this week I'd like you to think small - not small cards, but small spaces of embellishment on regular sized cards.
You are allowed to cover no more than a 5x5cms area of your card with paper or embellishment - the rest of the card must be left plain.

This dare took me way back to when I first started cardmaking! All my cards used to look like this! It was actually really difficult to decide what to put on the card when you can only cover a 5cm square.
Eventually This is what I came up with - a very simple Anniversary card made entirely of scraps. Hope the ribbon isn't breaking the rules too much.
This next card is similar to a previous design - I made this for the JB forum challenge to use spots and dots. I now have 2 Christmas cards ready for December!
Enjoy your weekend.

CHRISTMAS CARDS?
I refuse to listen!
Love your DCM card the little square looks fab
They are both lovely cards, Sarah. It's amazing what you can do with scraps - love the way you've used them on the first one - and it shows that 'less is more' is classy.
great cards Sarah, love the felt heart.
Love the anniversary card - so sweet! Not sure I'm quite ready for Christmas cards yet (but this one looks fab!).
