Remember me?....

Yes I have been a bad bad blogger!!!!!!! Life is just so hectic at the moment - my job is taking up a lot of my time and I just feel so tired by the time I get home that I haven't been crafting much.

This morning I did manage a tag for the Tag you're it challenge -

create a tag that's pretty and feminine ... time to go hog wild with lace and ribbon and all things pretty!! Get in touch with your girly side, make it as soft and delicate or bold and beautiful as you like!

Well - I love this challenge and could have made a few more if I had the time or energy, this is what I came up with;

A selection of BG, ribbon, lace and gorgeous Melissa Frances all mixed together with a few flowers - my idea of crafting heaven!!!!!

Hope to share a few more things soon - when I've actually made them obviously!

Challenge Time...

This week is Challenge Week over on Just Bex forum! Bex has asked the members to set challenges so I got my thinking hat on and have come up with a few.

The first one was to make a card using a recipe of my favourite things;

chipboard

ribbon

at least one star or flower

a tag

buttons

here are the 2 cards I made as examples;

The second challenge I set was to make a gift bag out of an A4 envelope. Very simple to do - if you want to see the tutorial for these you will have to visit the forum!

I hope to set a couple more later in the week.

A new sketch...

I have been doing a bit of blog hopping lately and have found some really inspirational blogs. Whilst admiring some of the fantastic cards I came across this sketch site - Kortskissen. I really love the hand drawn effect sketches so I thought I would have a go at the latest sketch.

Never again!......

Moo cards!!!!!!!!!! Sam set this little (And I mean little!!!) challenge on the TAG YOU'RE IT Blog this week;

This week Sam set the theme and we want to see your Moo Tags.

A moo is a decorated piece of card measuring 2.8 x 7cm (1.1 x 2.8 inches)

So I made 3 and stuck them on a tag. For some reason I used purple,I never use that colour. I have been using this french script stamp on all my projects recently I love it!

Oh - if any of you buy Simply cards and Papercraft magazine I am featured in the latest issue! Have a little look on p.74 and 75, you even get to see a photo of me- I really hate having my picture taken, but tis lovely to see my cards in print!

Well I don't think I will be making any more of these little moo cards - but thanks Sam it was certainly a challenge!
