Christmas is coming...

Now that September is here I can start work on my most favourite cards - Christmas Cards!!! I don't know why but I just love making them, and always seem to stick to the traditional colours. This year I am going to try and use some more modern designs but these two are more traditional I think.
I made these for a challenge that Sue set over on JB forum - to use circles. Well I hope one circle is ok.
I will be trying out a few more Christmas design in the next few weeks.

2 Sketches 4 you and another Wedding gift..

Where does the time go?? Leah goes back to school next week and I haven't even got her new school shoes organised yet
I have managed to finish my Ribbon Oasis design team stuff - but sadly cannot show any just yet. Today I made a card using Laura's sketch on 2 sketches 4 you;

And I have just finished making this for a wedding gift, I used a template bought in the Paper Mill shop - it was really simple to do and they have lots of different words to choose from. I also bought 'baby' and 'Noel' so I am looking forward to trying those as well.

I left a few spaces for the happy couple to add a few snapshots of their special day;

And a hidden tag with the Reception venue on.

A very enjoyable project and I loved working with neutral colours.

Hope to be back again this week with a card or two.

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

OMG I am such a rubbish blogger these days!!!!!! I have been busy making things all week for Ribbon Oasis but sadly cannot show them yet - I may do a few sneak peaks tomorrow.

I made this for my lovely friend Sam as it was her birthday this week - a card and little gift. If you are not familiar with Sam's work please go check out her blog she is so talented.

My daughter Leah made this fabby spaceship card for our neighbour's son using this link;

It was really easy to make and you can print off a template as well.

I have a weekend of crafting planned as I have so much to catch up on.
Enjoy the bank holiday, let's hope we get some sunshine.

Wet and Windy...

The weather has been horrible since we returned from Turkey yesterday - a bit of a shock after the beautiful weather we had out there.

Just before we went on holiday our next door neighbours got married so I altered an old wooden heart I found in a florists some time ago for them;
It started like this;

And ended up like this;

I had to rush this project a bit , but I think it turned out ok.

I have several cards to make this week so I should have some more to show you by the weekend.
