4th of July...

A new challenge on Tag You're it blog today;

In celebration of this fine day we have decided to honour it in true US style - whatever the title conjures up in your mind, let yourself go and create a tag that befits the Fourth of July!

Sam and Anne have come up with some fab samples for this challenge, I decided to go with the stars and stripes theme for my tag. I have been experimenting using denim on a few projects at the moment - my girls buy loads of jeans so I thought I would try and recycle some of their old pairs! I quite like the effect of the stitched star and using denim strips as ribbon( you can easily fray it to give a slightly shabby look). I also used some Melissa Frances star paper and a few star eyelets - in red white and blue of course!

Enjoy your weekend!

SO clever to use the denim, it's a perfect blue, makes this tag feel really vintagy (if that's a word but you know what I mean!) Thanks so much for taking part in another of our challenges :)
