You're not the (em)boss of me .....

Embossing.Dry embossing with a light box or with a die cutting machine.Using embossing powders or triple embossing.Using pre-embossed papers.Embossing with found items.Just have fun playing!

My card doesn't have too much embossing on it as I couldn't bear to put a whole chunk of this pp through the embossing folder! I love this Crate paper range! I embossed one strip in a cuttlebug folder and the flower centre in my quickutz.(piccies are a bit rubbish as the light is bad here today!)
This card is also for the JB forum challenge 'no reason at all', a card to just send to someone at any time. I am trying to catch up with some of the past challenges.

pp crate brunch collection, retro flower punch, cuttlebug swirl embossing folder and plenty of hand stitching. I used an emery board to distress the embossing and paper edges.
Fab dare yet again, and some wonderful cards made by everyone as well.

Enjoy your weekend!

Ooooh a crate collection I haven't got (not allowed any more until I use some. But I cry every time I break into a sheet)And all that neat hand stitching is incredible. I really love the way this card has turned out. And just a little embossing just adds something extra doesn't it?

The subtle embossing adds to the design. Often little touches are all that is needed & I love this card.

I've not got this set of crate paper weither - it looks lovely though, you temptress!

You know, this card would be gorgeous without the embossing, but that little strip of a raised pattern just lifts the whole thing into a different league - I love it.
